FAQ's

My approach to Weddings is to focus on providing a photo journalistic imagery while also mixing in fine-art or fashion photography influences. I love using creative lighting, unique compositions and artistic post-production to tell a story of your wedding day.

My approach to Family Portrait Sessions is stylish and artistic by integrating both natural and creative lighting to create artwork to compliment your style.

I have shot at numerous venues for Weddings, so there is a good chance that I have shot at the venue that you selected. However, if I have not, I will get to the venue early on the day of your wedding and be sure to perform a thorough walk-through to scout out the best photography locations at your venue. I also do extensive online research prior to your big day!

For Family Portrait Sessions, I have visited numerous locations and familiar with most areas. If I have not shot at a location before, I will call or visit the venue to ensure there are no additional permits required to shoot at a given location. Some private locations or parks require permits to shoot, so this will be researched ahead of time, once a location has been selected.

To discuss Wedding pricing and packages in detail, please CONTACT ME and we can talk in depth about each of my packages. Please keep in mind that no two weddings are the same, so prices will vary. If I am available on your date, I would be more than happy to email you my rates for your location, as well as chat about putting together a custom package that suits exactly what your wedding requires.

Each Portrait package includes pre-consultation and post shoot consultation where I assist in selecting the perfect wall-art for you and your family. For pricing on Portraits, please visit our INVESTMENT page for more information.

If you require additional information or clarification please feel free to CONTACT ME.

For Weddings, the short answer is Yes! My staff and I are able to work on a higher level for longer if we’ve been fed! We are on our feet for several hours straight after the ceremony, capturing romantics and detail shots before the reception starts. If you choose not to provide a meal for us, we will take a one hour break at some point during your reception to have a meal.

For Weddings we prefer our clients book at least 8-12 months in advance.  If you are planning on a shorter time frame, please CONTACT ME to check availability. My calendar fills up very quickly, so timing is key.

For Portraits, this can be a little more flexible since we have more time available to do the shoot. If my weekends are full due to a wedding or event, we can simply shoot on a weekday and we will have plenty of time.

Congratulations! The next step is to go to my Contact Form on my website, provide all the necessary information and I will contact you within 24 hours. Once we select a photography package that fits your needs, I will send you a contract to sign and instructions on how to pay the retainer.  I cannot hold any date for either a wedding or portrait session without both the retainer and contract completed.  I can’t wait to work with you!

I only provide photography services only.  I prefer to do the absolute best job and provide the highest quality of work for you. I am solely focused on capturing beautiful photos that you will cherish in your album and the art on your walls.  I would be more than happy to provide you referrals of excellent videographers who share a similar style and mindset.

Usually, engagement and family photos will be available for online viewing within 2-3 weeks after the shoot. Weddings will normally take 4-6 weeks due to larger picture volume.

For Weddings, I usually bring at least one other photographer to help cover the entire day with me so no detail or moment is missed!  If you are having a larger wedding where bride and groom are getting ready at different locations, I might have my other photographer cover the grooms/groomsmen getting ready, and/or assistants to help as well. I will always stick to the brides side and I always ensure that I am well-staffed to make sure that your wedding is captured impeccably and that nothing is missed.

For Portrait Sessions, I normally bring my wife (Melody) to assist me when shooting portraits. Melody is my official light and reflector girl.
